Solve this problem, solving financial problem, solve a problem is a question I’m ask often. What are the steps to solving a problem? How do I come up with a solution?

These are all questions everyone has asked at sometime in their life. I have found that you need to reflection and go about a more formal process to really solve any problem. When I say problem, it doesn’t have to really be a problem, it could be a wish, goal, dream or anything your really want out of life.

**I use a four step process to problem solving:**

1. Identify the problem

2. List the solutions

4. Review the results

**Step #1**

In step one you need to clearly identify the problem, you must ask yourself questions and record the results to really determine what the actual problem is. Some questions you should asked yourself in trying to identifying the problem. What is the problem? Who or what does it involve? Where is the problem and what is happening that causes the problem? How is the problem affecting you, others and your surroundings? What are the obstacles in my way for solving this problem?

**Step #2**

In step two you must list some solutions on how you can solve the problem. I list at least three different ways I could solve this problem. Again in this step you must ask yourself some questions. How can I overcome the obstacles on my way to solving this problem? List your solutions and then determine how each would effect the outcome.

**Step #3**

In step three you need to take the solutions you listed and begin to use them, test them out and determine if they work or which one works the best. After testing out your multiple solution’s determine which one you think would solve your problem the best and put it to use to solve your problem.

**Step #4**

In step four your review the results over time to determine if the problem was solved and if the solution is something you need to make part of your daily routine. Once you find a solution that works make it a habit and your problem will stayed solved.

Keep in mind when solving one problem with a solution it could lead to another problem you did not consider in the early process. Many times a solution to a problem creates another problem. Its all a part of the MOVE FORWARD process in life, your always solving some sort of problem each and every day, learn to use a four step formal process, and write them down and you will never have to stress again trying to solve a problem.
